Raheen trio bought by Commercial Bloodstock

All 9 lots catalogued by Raheen Stud found new homes at the Magic Millions HIT Sale last week.

Commercial Bloodstock agents Noel and Duran Carter took a shine to the draft and bought three for the trip back home to Western Australia.  Their Stromberg Carlson – Sarani colt is a brother to brilliant Perth sprinter Sound System.

The Carters also purchased Publishing colts from Mine Counter (Zeditave) and Relic Bay (Canny Lad) as part of $70,000 shopping list.

Singapore owner Alfred Tan bought three lots at the HIT Sale including the Publishing – Electric Lass colt for $28,000.  The chestnut had breezed 200 metres in a quick 10.69s and he also looked the part when paraded as part of the Raheen consignment.

Another Publishing off to Singapore is the colt from Moondust Magic (More Than Ready).  Bred by Raheen, he was bought as a yearling by Symphony Lodge and on-sold for $42,000 to the bid of Singapore’s Women In Racing Club.

Two other Publishing colts pin-hooked from Raheen’s QTIS yearling sale consignment were passed in at the HIT Sale.  The new owners of the colts from Cheekies (Snippets) and Dodgalady (Dodge) knocked back bids of $75,000 and $55,000 respectively.
