There are 39 yearlings in Raheen’s consignment including 19 lots by its exciting young sire Publishing.  There are also multiple entries by established stallions Bradbury’s Luck (3) and Snippetson (2) plus up-and-comers Red Element (2), Dreamscape (2) and Nicconi (2).

Raheen’s 2010 QTIS graduates included $1 million Magic Millions 3YO Guineas winner Punch On and $250,000 QTIS 600 Plate winner Rocket To Glory.

Punch On cost just $16,000 and she earned over $831,000 and Rocket To Glory was knocked down for $20,000 and banked more than $441,000.

Adebisi is another tremendous Magic Millions money-spinner from Raheen.  He was a $15,000 Gold Coast graduate in 2009 and his connections have enjoyed several big pay-days locally and interstate.

Last year’s QTIS Sale came up trumps with Publishing’s first winner First Release.  Gold Coast trainer Bruce Hill bought her for $10,000 and she paid that straight back on home turf in January.  “The Publishings have hit the ground running,” Raheen studmaster Basil Nolan jnr said.  “Trainers say they’re trouble-free and come to hand quickly.”

Publishing filly Angie’s Diary was runner-up in the Fitton Plate back in September and the winner Whiskey All Round went to town and won another two races at Eagle Farm.  Her full sister has been catalogued as Lot 312 at the QTIS Sale.

Bryan Guy has another promising Publishing filly named Stories.   She was caught wide on debut at Eagle Farm and did extra well to finish second to Cannyzing.

Publishing’s QTIS Sale yearlings have received numerous other updates in recent weeks.  His Mine Counter colt (Lot 89) is a younger half-brother to the Bryan Guy trained filly Strong Champion who won at Ipswich and Gold Coast in January.

His English Summer filly (Lot 394) is a younger half-sister to Raheen bred flying Rocket To Glory who continues to be influence after an unlucky third in the $200,000 Magic Millions Sprint.

Among Raheen’s other yearlings, the Dreamscape – Sweet Cherub colt (Lot 245) will be popular when he parades.  “I’ve been really impressed with the way he’s prepping,” Nolan said.  “He’s an all-round quality colt.”

Raheen has also enjoyed success with Widden sire Snippetson and the QTIS Sale includes his filly from Miss Rogers (Lot 101) and a colt out of Tycoon Rose (Lot 176).  “They’re both among the best on type in our draft,” Nolan explained.  “We sold a Snippetson colt to Gary Portelli at the Magic Millions last year – he’s called Trent’s Quest and only just got run down at Randwick in October.”
